COVID-19 Taxi Update
Wednesday 24th February 2021
Numerous taxi companies all over the world have unfortunately suffered since March 2020 due to the coronavirus, and LRC is no exception. Facing a huge loss of income, staff and drivers, LRC has had to battle many hard issues throughtout the last year; making extremely tough and emotional decisions, including the departure of Founder Terence Williams - whom passed it down to his son, who is also called Terence Williams.
However, every cloud has a silver lining and despite the hard decisions that were made, LRC is currently running at a better rate than ever; securing more managers, more office staff and more road work than we had in the early days of COVID. The issues that the pandemic placed before us has been a hard battle, however LRC pushed for cleaner and more hygenic vehicles and it is currently apart of drivers and staff daily routines.
News broke that the lockdown we are currently in should be halted as of June 21st. We have set this deadline to push ourselves further into other areas of Birmingham, to provide the same efficient and hygenic transport we offer our customers, to other customers in surrounding areas.
